The Bluewater Dance Troupe recently held a fundraiser at the Sarnia Library featuring their 2009 / 2010 performance routines.

The capacity crowd thoroughly enjoyed the show! 

Bluewater Dance Troupe Scholarship Winners

The Bluewater Dance Troupe has started our their 2009/2010 season with great performances at the Co Dance Competition in Clevland, and the West Coast Dance Explosion Competition in Detroit.

In addition to winning Platinum, Gold and Overall awards for several of their routines, three students were also awarded dance scholarships.  At Co Dance, Jordan Manlongat received a scholarship in the senior division, while Eunice Tulang received a scholarship in the Teen division.    At West Coast Dance Explosion, Jordan Manlongat also won in the senior division, while Alyssa Thompson was awarded a scholarship in the Junior Division.  Congratulations girls on your accomplishments!

GOING OUT IN STYLE

The Bluewater Dance Troupe closed out their last competition with a brilliant showing at the recent Terpsichore Competition in Chatham.  Several of the group's routines received special awards, overall and choreography awards, Congratulations girls!  Your talent shone through, and your hard work and dedication was rewarded.

 Mayor's Honour List Recognition Reception
In recognition of her numerous contributions to the arts community over the past twenty five years, Mrs. Schram was proud to be named to the Mayor's Honour List. A receception was recently held to recognize local honourees. Pictured below from the left are Office Manager Carrie Manlongat, Mayor Mike Bradley, Mrs. Schram, President of the St. Clair Youth Ballet Dave Barnes, Office Manager Kim Jackson, and Vice-president of the Bluewater Dance Troupe, Liz Maloney.
