A little less than one year ago, the Shirley Schram
School of Dance celebrated its last recital, after twenty six years of
operation in Sarnia.Over the years, I
was fortunate to have worked with countless talented and dedicated dancers,
supportive parents, and an amazing staff. Those wonderful memories will be with me forever.
Upon closing the dance school, I
embarked on a new venture, thebodyconnection(http://thebodyconnection.ca)
.Over the past year, I have thoroughly
enjoyed teaching adults in our Pilates, Ballet Barre and Zumba programs. The response to our programs from the
community has been greatand I look forward to continuing this work with
my clients.
I'm excited about another
opportunity which combines my passion for ballet, and my love of teaching
children.Chelsea Clarke and I will be
partnering in a new venture, the Sarnia Ballet School (http://sarniaballetschool.com) .Both
Chelsea and I have a love of ballet, and look forward to sharing this with our
students.Our studio will focus on
creative movement programs (Little Magic Train) for children age 2.5 and three,
pre-primary and primary ballet programs, and the graded Cecchetti Ballet
syllabus for children aged eight and up.We also plan to introduce students to lyrical and contemporary dance and
will be offering a summer dance program this July.
I would like to take this opportunity
to thank everyone once again for the support that you have provided over the
years, and hope that you will share this information about these two new
ventures with your friends.
