Twenty six years ago, I opened my
dance school with two goals in mind: to instil a love for dance in my students
and secondly, to inspire them to achieve their full potential as dancers and
individuals. It has been a difficult decision, but after much reflection I have
decided that this will be the last year of operation of the studio.
Although it is an impossible task to
express my profound gratitude, I would like to thank everyone who has been
involved with the dance school, the Bluewater Dance Troupe and the St. Clair
Youth Ballet, and to let you all know how much the experiences we have shared
have meant to my family and I.The
friendships that I have developed with students, parents, and my dedicated
staff will be cherished forever.My
students have brought me amazing pride and great joy: I will miss you all.
With every ending, there is a new
beginning. The dance school will close
in June, but later this summer, I will open a new studio called 'thebodyconnection'which will offer Pilates as well as a variety of other
dance and fitness classes focusing on adults. You will hear more about my
plans for this exciting venture in the near future and we will have our new
website http://thebodyconnection.ca in operation shortly.
In closing, once again I would like
to thank everyone for their support over the years. To my students - keep
your love for dance alive! I wish you great success in all your future endeavours.
